mil cumbres is a first-generation coffee farm in cloud valley, volcan founded by lawyer mario fonseca. they achieved 2nd place in the 2024 best of panama varietals category with a natural-processed pacamara after placing 6th in 2023, then with a natural-processed sidra. also in 2024, they took 17th place geisha washed.
these accolades, aided by the mentorship of seasoned 3rd generation producer ratibor hartmann of the celebrated hartmann coffee family heritage, aim to raise panama's profile as an origin of top-notch varieties apart from geisha.
