Lamastus Family Estates, founded in 1918 by Robert Lamastus, is a fourth-generation coffee company led today by Wilford Lamastus Jr. They hold the record for the most Best of Panama awards, including Producer of the Year in 2022 and major wins in 2018 and 2019.
Their four farms—Elida, El Burro, Luito, and Lulo—each feature unique microclimates that shape their coffees’ distinctive profiles. El Burro Estate, located near the Pacific and partly within Baru Volcano National Park, benefits from rich volcanic soils, dense forest cover, and diverse weather patterns that give its Geisha coffee exceptional flavor complexity.
