Finca El Paraiso is a 49-hectare family-owned coffee farm founded in 2008 by Diego Samuel Bermudez in Cauca, Colombia. It is the flagship farm of the Bermudez family and the base of their innovation company, INDESTEC S.A.S., which focuses on advanced post-harvest processing methods such as “Thermal Shock” to develop distinctive and high-quality coffee profiles.
Located in Cauca — a region known for its Denomination of Origin status and clean, floral, high-acidity coffees — the farm benefits from favorable microclimates that contribute tropical and vibrant flavor notes. Finca El Paraiso gained international recognition after placing in the Top 10 at the 2018 Cup of Excellence and winning again in 2019.
Since then, the family has expanded to six additional farms and continues to innovate, strengthen Colombia’s reputation in specialty coffee, and support local communities through INDESTEC’s structured development pillars.
