Elto Coffee, founded by Sidama Bensa couple Eliyas Dukamo and Atiklit Dejene, produces exceptional nano-lots using high-quality cherries from local smallholder farmers and modernized traditional processing. “Elto,” meaning “more than passion” and “abundance” in Sidamic, reflects their vision of creating unforgettable coffees while empowering farmers through better returns.
Based in Arbegona—an area famed for its award-winning, high-elevation coffees—Elto helps 500–750 farmers improve quality and value through updated cultivation and processing practices. Both founders are certified cuppers trained by the Ethiopian Tea and Coffee Authority: Eliyas is Operations Manager at Daye Bensa Coffee, and Atiklit has managed processing at Gesha Village and Daye Bensa.
