Edgar Gutierrez established Corpachi Estate Reserve by planting coffee trees to reforest the hillsides of a three-generation livestock farm in Cordillera Arriba, Boquete beginning in 2017. Endowing the same generous soils with a renewed purpose of restoring nature as much as it yields, Edgar cultivates 10+ coffee varieties, whose finest qualities develop only when the environment is kept pristine. A young coffee farm flourishing alongside Edgar’s growing family, Corpachi has increased in esteem among roasters and coffee lovers who cherish exceptional cups and believe the land should thrive in return for all it gives.
